International Summer School

Intensive course in French as a Foreign Language – Beginning of academic year 2011-2012

International students who come to Montpellier 1 University to study can take an intensive course in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) at the beginning of the academic year. The course is organised by the Centre of Research and Higher Education - Montpellier University South of France (PRES-UMSF).

This course is open to:

  • ERASMUS students or students participating in an inter-university cooperation agreement
  • Doctoral students at level A1, A2 and B1 based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The level test for the different groups will take place on Monday 29th August 2011 at 9.30 am in Amphi. A, at Paul Valéry University (UM3). The test generally lasts for one hour.

The intensive course (20 hours) will run from Tuesday 30th August to Saturday 3rd September 2011; the fee for the course is €50.

Note: other sessions of French as a Foreign Language will be organised throughout the academic year. Students may only attend one course per academic year. Places are limited, so please sign up as soon as possible.
